I don't know of the better forums, but I am a fan of Tangerine Dream
and The Orb. I like some Biosphere stuff.

Not a big fan of Enigma (what I know of it -- that chanting-monk
song).

Never heard of Brighter Death Now, and don't know anything about
Helios either.

Haven't kept up with ambient music in the last several years... Always
looking for recommendations though.

.Hello. Since my post I have googled a few forums to discuss in, they
are spread out here and there. Most worth visiting are on yahoo and
google groups.
The new Tangerine Dream is good. I have been listening to a lot of Steve
Roach lately. Brighter Death Now is more of a dark ambient group. I
recemend the new Tangerine album (Chantra Ferry) and the new Tosco album
called "No Hassle."
